[SOLVED] Moving computer to new area...

Hello!
So I recently got a new desk, and I was wondering how to move it over to the new desk. I know what to plug in, however, do I just unplug the computer from the outlet, or should I do something else? I have a surge protector and it has a button on it it that turns it off, so should I turn that off and then unplug it?
Please let me know what else I have to do to unplug it to the new desk.

Turn off the switch on the surge protector, move PC/surge protector, plug in surge protector, plug in PC, turn on surge protector.

Move it
Reconnect everything
Power On

Don't drop it in the process.

As long as the pc is powered off just unplug it and move everything, there’s no specific order beyond turning the pc off and unplugging it

Should I unplug everything from the back of my computer or leave it plugged it and move it?

Either way shouldn’t make a difference might be slightly safer to unplug everything just so you don’t have a trip hazard on your hands lol

I turned my computer on in the new spot and it works, but my monitor says no signal even though I have my display port and hdmi in it

Do you have both a HDMI and a display port cable connecting monitor to PC at the same time? Try removing one of them.
