Is it possible to do? It's compatible with the Motherboard I'm planning on getting, but I want to make sure that it would to just move it instead of having to buy a new CPU. I have an i7-3770 and would like to keep it for my new PC build if I can.
What mobo do you have? All that support 3770's should have no problems with any GPU on the market now and the near future (short of some oddball OEM board). SLI/Crossfire is a different story.
Sorry haha I just need to figure it out soon before i order a new CPU, I have a i7-3770, and want to take it off the motherboard I have, I don't think it has a fan or anything, and move it to a new Gigabyte GA-H61M-S1 Motherboard, It's compatible I know. But I would like to know if I would need to do anything specific or if I can just remove it and then put it in.
