Hello,

So currently I have a rig that has a 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD and my OS is on the 240GB SSD. I am building a new PC and I want to wipe that SSD and use it as my OS again with 1TB m.2 as main storage.

My old rig will still be used but I will reinstall OS on HDD and I want a clean slate on this HDD as well.

My new rig will have OS on SSD, but I want to make sure all data is wiped so I have the full storage amount.

I have some thoughts about going about this and it seems easy, but I want to be as efficient as possible and I want to hear what you guys would advise me to do.

(I have two copies of OS on hand and ready)

For a whole new system, you do NOT want to try to "migrate" the OS drive.

Clean install, one whichever drive, when it is in the new system.
Start fresh.

Also, your Win 10 license:
For the OS activation, read and do this before you change any parts:

Should I clear my disks before I clean install? or will clean install do that for me?
