[SOLVED] Moving Files via SD Cards - Safe?

I have a 32GB SD card.
Is it "safe" to use to transport a load of video files? I normally use memory sticks but I've found myself having a lot of <4GB ones, which are no good really but before plumping on an external SSD, wondering if an SD card is okay to use for now?

Wasn't sure if there was a difference in the memory chips or something.

I need a good old clear out of old sticks I think.

It is "safe", as long as the copy on the SD card is not the "only copy".
