Very simple. Just move your cursor over the file/folder you want to move then hold down your left mouse button on top of the file/folder. Now drag (move) the file/folder to the location of your choice. All done.

If you want to make a copy of the file/folder so you can have the original and then a second copy in another location all you have to do is again move your cursor over the file/folder of your choice. Then right click on the file/folder and select "copy". Then move the cursor to the location where you would like to copy the file/folder and right click again. Now select "paste".
