I have been using a Sapphire Vapor-X R9 270X GPU with this mobo since I put this build together about 4 years ago. Recently I've been looking into installing a WiFi card but the aforementioned GPU blocks the Only PCIE x1 slot on the board. I am trying to reposition my GPU to another slot so that I may utilize the normally blocked PCIE x1. I can boot to bios and see my options but my system doesn't seem to want to give me any other visuals from slots beyond the first. Am I missing a step or is the internal WiFi card outside of my possibilities?

Solution
You can actually install the x1 PCIe network adapter into any available PCIe slot (and not have to move your GPU). The "larger" PCIe slots and backward compatible with "smaller" PCIe devices.

I did not know that. Thank you for that info!

I did a reset of BIOS defaults and restarted. Seems to have fixed the issue. I also had to reset the GPU driver after successful boot into Windows in order to restore full GPU functionality.
