Moving my OS

I recently bought an SSD, but when I tried to download the install program for Window, neither of my Windows 8 Pro codes worked (both currently being used) and the code I got from using Belarc Adviser didn't work either. Is there another way to move my OS without needing the code?

Um, you can use the eicfg removal tool and it would allow you to use any Windows product code to activate your version of Windows, whether the code is being used or not. Here's a link to my Dropbox, where you can find it-

I am not sure if it works on Windows 8, but you can try it.

What I have done in the past to upgrade drives is I used EaseUS Todo Backup Free, After you get that put the SSD into the computer that you want the OS on and clone the drive to it. Once it is cloned, turn off the computer and unplug your main drive. Then plug the SSD in the slot where the main drive was and then the computer should boot from the SSD. When I did this, the first couple boots were really slow but then it became much faster after those first few boots.
