Hello all,

Recently I've built myself a custom pc with new a motherboard, graphics card (radeon R7 260x), and more. Although I've kept the hard drive which I retrieved from my old laptop in order to keep the data from it including the Windows 7 software. After I booted up the system, the boot screen gave me two options due to "hibernation" as they call it. I clicked the one which read 'resume Windows normally' and it all seemed to go well until the swirly windows color, which is meant to combine to create the logo, froze and brought me back to the boot screen.

The other option in the boot screen was to repair windows. I pressed it and it kept me on hold for an hour as it attempted to repair whatever it was. After the "repair" finished I tried to boot the pc up again but it froze at the same place as it did before.

So my question is whether there is a solution to fixing this and have windows up and running.

Thank you all!
