I just bought a new Samsung SSD hard drive... Now i need to move my OS drive to the new SSD (Windows folder, program files and my documents)
The SSD drive comes with Norton Ghost, so i tryed it... I followed the instructions and picked option "Copy my hard drive". After the cloning process everything seems to be correct, the files are on my new SSD... But when i reboot and change the BIOS to boot on the SSD, i get the error "BOOTMGR not found"
what am i doing wrong ?
BTW, Windows 7 is in use when i am trying to clone the HD since Norton Ghost is installed on the same HD i'm cloning, so it may be the source of the problem... Is there a program that would allow me to clone the HD outside of windows, something like a bootable CD/USB that would clone my HD without using it ?
I'm confused... please help me ! I don't want to reinstall windows...
