I would like to move my OS to my new SSD without loosing my Games and Files etc on my main hard drive. Is it possible to install the OS onto the SSD then delete the one on the HDD? Because I really don't want to lose all my files.
Remove HDD from the system;
Connect SSD;
Install windows;
Connect HDD.
No files are lost doing it this way.
You will have to reinstall all the software on your pc.
To clone os from hdd to ssd, you would need used space in os partition to be smaller than your new ssd.
Just copy all your OS files (generally whole C drive) to the ssd and reboot. Then in boot menu select the ssd as first boot device. Thats it. You will not loose any of your files.
No, you can't just copy the OS files to another drive it won't work
You have to clone the HDD to the new SSD for that to work but the SSD has to be equal or larger in size than the HDD.

Alright that makes more sense, yeah I will have to buy a bigger SSD then because I don't want to go through the pain in having to reinstall all my programs. I will just have to clone them.
Can you post screenshot from disk management?
You could probably move user files like videos, music to some external drive, so that amount of used space goes down and you can fit into smaller ssd drive.
