Hi!
I recently got myself a gaming PC and placed it on a sturdy desk to avoid it getting dusty. Here's the thing: When I booted the system for the first time, there was no signal on my display, so I had to check the D-DVI connection. This problem is already solved, but since I am extremely OCD about electronic equipment, I wanted to ask about moving the desk. While the pc was on, I moved the desk gently by sliding it a little so I could fit in the back and check the cables. I did not bump, nudge, slid, pick up, or otherwise move the chassis itself in anyway, as it remained stationary the whole time. The chassis did not wobble etc.
Everything works without any problems. I just wanted to ask if moving a desk in this kind of scenario is safe? Naturally, if I needed to move the chassis itself, I would power it down.
Please tell me it is safe. I know it may sound silly, but I've had a lot of anxiety about this : (
