[SOLVED] Moving SSD drive to another M.2 slot on the board

I have an ASUS TUF Z390-Plus gaming Motherboard. There are 2 x M.2 x4 slots on the Motherboard. I currently have my NVMe SSD in the top slot but want to move it to the bottom slot under the Heat Spreader for a cleaner look. Can I do this without messing anything up in the bios or Windows 10? Will they both still locate the SSD drive without loss of my Operating System?

Moving the SSD to a different M.2 socket may change your boot order in the BIOS.

It should work. Both M.2 ports are NVMe capable.

So it sounds like no issue, But I may need to change the boot order in Bios? The OS or drive letter will not change?

Nothing would happen that could not easily be changed. Your Windows partition will always default to drive letter C and the drive letter of any other partition can easily be changed within Windows.
