Moving Steam Disabled Multiplayer?

I had recently moved steam from my main drive to a new drive, however after doing so, i could no longer join any multiplayer games. Are there any quick fixes without moving it back to the Program Files x86 folder?

How did you move it? With a program or you simply moved the files?
