moving system reserved to different hard drive

Looking to move the system reserved from an HDD to SSD.

Originally installed OS on the SSD and windows automatically put the system reserved on the HDD. With HDD disconnected I cannot boot, which is why I want to move system reserved across.

I want to move that onto the SSD without fresh reinstall (1 use windows key, will need to buy another if reformat)

Assuming you have the install media (DVD or USB):

Disconnect all drives except the OS drive
Boot from the DVD
Select Repair
This 'might' fix the issue.
