Hey all, I currently have an HP omen 880 pc with their tampa-2 motherboard: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c05502869 and I'm wondering if I would be able to move all the components into a cougar panzer max case: http://cougargaming.com/products/cases/panzermax/

My only worries are parts being proprietary but as far as I can tell the motherboard is a standard mATX and I'm wondering if the PSU cables aren't long enough.
Thanks!

Solution
case for that much money may or may not worth it imo, but up to you.
Definitely add an ssd :)
Also I will not trust hp oem psu for your rig. Plan to upgrade soon.

my budget including the case is fairly tight so about 400-500 CAD. The case is a bit pricey and takes around half of that budget. So I'd say about 100-150 left for a psu if need be. If I end up needing a new MB then I'll just have to hold onto the current setup and case for the time being but the mb looks to be non proprietary

I guess i'll pick up the case as soon as possible and if something like the MB or the PSU isn't compatible for some reason I can probably jerry rig some way to get the mb on (even though it looks to be proper mATX. I'll see how it goes and replace from there. I know for certain the cpu, gpu, ram, and hdd are all compatible with whatever I put them in. If the mb is the issue i'll probably hold off until I have the money to get a full ATX board and all.
Thank you!

Update
The pc move went smooth. I just now have one issue where my cpu fan isnt speeding up when the temperatures increase and I have no clue how to fix it. Might end up getting a new motherboard anyways
