News Mozilla fires off emergency patch to fix Nvidia GPU artifacting bugs in Firefox

Still a Mozilla fan over here. In fact, if anything, I believe the reasons are only growing to ditch Chrome, such as the Manifest v2 to v3 fiasco.

Compared to Chorme, Firefox is far better due to the vastly better UX that allows you to save a ton of vertical screen space while displaying more info. Also better memory management.

Beyond that they are not going out of their way to cripple ad blockers.

Overall, it cripples many functions useful for more advanced ad blocking, e.g., ads within a video player that implements anti-adblocker countermeasures. As well as more shady scripting behaviors, e.g. a site with a random video player that will open another web page while playing a video.
