The Opera browser has included a free VPN service for the last couple of years. I personally pay for my own VPN service (Nord) and it is a lot cheaper than $120.00 a year. I am surprised that the article did not mention the high cost of this (not new or revolutionary ) service from Firefox.

The basic version of Proton VPN is free, and yes Firefox is the pro version. The Opera VPN is actually built into the browser.

this service is essential to humans bein.. (VPNs).. i never ussed, anyway, just tor, but i guess its a proxy...

The Opera VPN is being phased out in future browser versions though, so that doesn't matter whatsoever anymore.
