i have mp3gain http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net
On the db tab does it get louder by the higher the db get.
does anyone know what is a good db not low or loud just room sound

The idea is to have all your mp3 have the same gain so that if you play them with your app there is no difference going from one to the other.
I would leave all of them on 0 gain so that I can decide with the audio player how loud it should play.

ok, working on some videos. i been putting dvds on MP4 to play on my Media player connected to my tv. I been evening the sound in the MP4, so it won't be high and sound sounds, just even. So i be running the mp3 files through the mp3gain program. what wound be the best db to set it to for tv
