[SOLVED] Mp3 player won't eject

Attempting to eject an mp3 player from my PC(running win10 everything up to date) crashes file explorer and freezes the PC. Unplugging the drive causes the PC to bluescreen and freeze on the bluescreen, forcing me to forcibly power off the system. I cant find anything in task manager that would be accessing the mp3 player, does anyone know any good utilities to find what might be trying to read/write to the player, or just a general way to force eject?

this mp3 player is plug in usb so stop it then try the safely remove it from taskbar on the lower right
