mp3's sound wierd

I get a wierd dripping sound (best way to describe it) when playing mp3's with media player. Vegas Audio plays them fine so I ruled out a hardware issue. Any suggestions?

Don't use Media Player.

Check your settings in Media Player. It might be using your sound card wrong or something.
