Hello everyone,

(sorry if this is the wrong forum, I did not see a DOS section)

I have a recently built DOS 6.22 machine which may or may not have Windows 3.11 and/or Windows 98se installed on it later. I wanted to know if anyone here has information on what Ethernet cards have drivers for MS-DOS. The idea is LAN functionality more so than internet access, though I may try it just for the sake of saying I did (I understand the risks). My dad, who was very much into computers during the DOS days, recommended the brand 3COM. I know about them but am not sure which cards work with DOS.

Ideally, it should be a PCI card since I am using all my ISA slots

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Great answers from everyone, thanks! I found something that may work, a Realtek Ethernet card, and I'll post it here should it do the trick. Otherwise, I'll try one of those Intel options.

You may hear back from me soon-ish.
