After testing my microsoft basic mouse vs my logitech g500 i saw that i managed to get more 1 taps in csgo than compared to the microsoft mouse even tho they are the same dpi. Why exactly is the logitech mouse better is it due to the sensor? I would also like to ask for a good replacement mouse i was thinking avout getting a g403

Solution
polling rate is basically the response time of a mouse. higher the polling rate the more pings it sends to the computer per second, increasing it's responsiveness.

G500 is specifically better cause it's more ergonomic, has a superior sensor, and more buttons. Really that's it but those three things are the core components of a mouse.

For me personally, it's all about the responsiveness and accuracy, with cheap mice like a microsoft one, you point your mouse somewhere fast, but it doesn't always go where you want it to go. Where as with the G500 and G500S as examples of good gaming mice, they have features that allow you to more your mouse where you want it to go with pinpoint accuracy.
Not sure how you think their equal, I've used several microsoft mice and they come now where near my G500S.

The G500S does indeed have a better sensor, in order to take full advantage of the mouse, you'll want to make sure your polling rate is at the max (1000) and lower your mouse DPI. I use a DPI of 750 when sniping, and it works really well.

I dont necessarily think they are the same i just wanted to know specifically why the g500 is better, also whats the purpose of having a lower or higher polling rate.
