I have the MS Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A (this is what is giving me the
problem)

My computer run down:
MSI K8N Neo4 Plat.
AMD 64bit 3800
ATI X850 XT Plat
two sticks of Corsair 512M DDR400
SB Audigy 2 ZS Plat
Two WD Raptor 40G SATA HD's (raid config= stripped)
One WD Caviar 120G EIDE
Sony DRU-500A DVD +/-RW
Codegen redundant PS 350W
MS wireless optical Mouse 2.0
Win XP prof. w/sp2 (Plus it has every current update as of 4/2/05)
=========================

Now here is what the problem is....the keyboard works fine, but not the way
I want/intend to use it. Lets just say, when I'm play a PC computer game and
I'm holding down the "w" key to move forward. Well after like 30 seconds in
the game I just stop moving... I have to release the "w" key and push it
again before I will continue to move. (<--this is the problem... I need the
keyboard to keep doing what I tell it to do, for no matter how long I hold
that key down!!)

I have gone through must of the setting, including those in TweakGUI and
haven't found any fixes for this. Can someone help or have a drive update to
fix the problem?

Thanks

The game might perform better with a slower repeat rate on the keys. Control Panel/Keyboard app.

Get a real wireless keyboard:
http://www.interlinkelectronics.com/

They respond at great distances like they were wired.

Move the reciever closer to the transmitter. I make sure they touch. They are very, very weak radio waves.

I still have the problem...moving the receiver closer never helped at all for
that problem. The slowing down the repeat rate did help, but this keyboard
just is not a keyboard for gaming. I also know another gamer that got the
same keyboard and has the same problems.

Also, on a similar note...I go to lots of LAN parties and well, the
interference from the other wireless keyboards drive it nuts!!! I never had
this problem with my Logitech!! :0

I don't know if it’s a driver issue or a hardware issue, but for a gaming I
would recommend that if you get this keyboard to get a second one or return
it....for me it’s to late!! :(
