MSAA X8 maxed in GTA V but what does the FXAA do?

Can anyone help me with setting FXAA? I have MSAA X8 in GTA V but I don't know what does the FXAA do I can turn it on or off but I dont see difference or It doesn't even drop frames.

They both do the same thing. Remove "jaggies". Use only one or the other.

if you cant tell the difference, use FXAA as it uses less gpu power.

x8 will cripple performance. use no more than x4 but for best performance use x2msaa and x2 txaa on a 1080p screen.

FXAA and TXAA makes the game blurry for me, I didn't notice it at first but once I'd used MSAA on GTA 5 it was an obvious difference.

I use maxed settings with MSAAX8 I get 50+ FPS so I don't need better FPS in games like this

Then this will be gr8 now who says gtx 980 ti is overkill for 1080p
