mSata shows only half the actual size.

i bought 2 kingston 256GB mSata SSD's the first one i got the first one and installed it but only showed 119GB available, so i though it came damaged in the mail. so i bought another one and
this one showed the correct size about 252GB (something like that) so i formatted it and it now shows 119GB available ? i am doing something wrong here?

any advice is appreciated thanks!

also have the adapter mSata to 2.5 Sata

i bought a mSata 256GB SSD, i installed it into the mSata slot and using Disk Management it read the full size of the SSD which is around 252GB(i think). disk management would not let me format it, it was GTP format
so, i used Command prompt to format it to NTFS, after the format to NTFS succeeded , it only read 119.24GB available
