mSATA SSD OS cloning/transfer

I have recently gotten an mSATA SSD for my laptop. I want the SSD to be my boot drive and load my OS. Is there any way I could move the OS from my HDD onto my SSD without spending money on an OS disk? I would then format my old HDD and use it only for files. My laptop came installed with Windows 7 so I have no disk, but I do have the Windows 7 Product Key.

you can download the window7 iso from the internet.

just make sure you download the versin matching you product key.


also you can clone the OS to the SSD depending how much space is used on the HDD
