Hi, my friend suggested me to try and change the msconfig processor from 1 to 6. When I did this the laptop reset. And now its saying my PIN needs to be reset. I cannot boot in safe mode. Is there a way I can change the processor from 6 back to 1? I cannot change my PIN... After updating the BIOS, when the laptop resets. There's no display. I can only access the systems Bios from pressing f10 right after turning the laptop on... This is very frustrating. Please help!

It is a an HP Envy with a AMD 4000 series processor, and a AMD Radeon Graphics card. I've updated the bios trying to see it would reset these setting back to normal. I cannot even access the msconfig. When bring up the command prompt I did go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths susupposed msconfig.exe should be in there. And there is no trace of it. Is there a way to to reset the number of processors through the command prompt?

I've accessed the command prompt from the restor options, and have access from there. But now it's asking for a bitlocker key... and idk what reason why Microsoft didn't automatically put it in my account. But I can't find that either

Thank you moderators. I've got it all reset, and booted up without deleting my files. Once accessed through bitlocker... Safe mode wouldn't launch, so resorting to a reset, including saving my files. Helped a lot. Thank you
