Hello, guys, I'm gonna break it down and keep it simple.

I've been having major lag issues recently and only just figured out that I had a bottlenecking CPU. The problem is my GPU is a 750 Ti, and my CPU is a FX 8320, which obviously shouldn't be bottlenecking. I went to check how many cores I was running and MSConfig only shows that my CPU has 2 cores, and won't let me activate any more of them. It straight up doesn't show them, my only options are one and two.

My motherboard is an MSI 970 Gaming.

If someone could respond soon so I can get this problem fixed, that'd be great! Thank you!

Uncheck it and reboot the rig, should be the same configuration that you saw in the picture that I posted.
AMD FX-8320 8 Core @ 3.7 GHZ/s, MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard, DDR3 4 GB RAM (I know, I need an upgrade), NVidia Geforce 750 Ti, Corsair CX750 Power Supply

Is that what you're generally looking for?

No, you should see something like this:

[strike]hit Win + R, type "msconfig" and hit enter
then go to msconfig > Boot tab > Advanced options > and untick Number of Processors if it's ticked[/strike]

sorry didnt read that well.
check your bios as above poster said

I see, you are with only 2 cores.

So, go to msconfig and unselect the option that says "Number of processors", reboot your rig and check again with the same program (CPU-Z) if now on "Cores" and "Threads" says 8.

Check also your BIOS settings that all cores are active there.

I understand that, but the box that you have there should not be selected. As show the following picture.

If you have it in that way, the problem is on your BIOS.

Except it is checked on mine. I tried to set it a while back, to 8, and I checked today, and it was at 2, with no other options.

I did switch motherboards between then and now, so it might be my BIOS.

Uncheck that and save. Then roboot and go to bios and do a "load optimised defaults" and you're good to go.
