How do you run msconfig in Windows 2000. I have a dell
desktop running on a network. I cannot get to msconfig
I know this is a stupid question but i have never been
able to figure it out. Please help

There's no MSCONFIG in W2k. The one from XP works fine if you can get a
copy.

nevermond i downloaded the software on the site and it
works fine thanks a lot and to think for 3 years i have
never asked this question on a forum... jeeeese

:) Glad it's working. I love MSCONFIG and found it annoying that W2k didn't
see fit to include it.

For future reference, if you copy msconfig.exe from a WinXP computer to your
W2k computer's system32 directory (usually under c:\winnt, but wherever
Windows is installed to) it works fine. Start, run, msconfig <enter>
