Hey guys.
As I've seen, there are a lot of people having issues with the 1060 gtx, that's it's not performing as well as it should. I was wondering if anyone could help me or have any ideas what the problem could be for me, with my specifications (since everybody has a different PC)
My specs:
i7-6700 non-k turbo boosted to 4ghz
8gb ddr4 2133 mhz
MSI 1060 gaming x 6gb
H110H-S2HP-CF Motherboard
I did some research, found out that this motherboard is compatible with the GPU.
I tried the Heaven Benchmark test
http://prntscr.com/h3ardk
^ That's what I got. I overclocked the GPU with MSI Afterburner
core +160 ; memory + 390 ; power 108%
Doing the test,
GPU usage was 99-100%
GPU Temp was 62-63%
CPU usage was at one point at 25%(just for a few seconds), but the most time it stayed between 10-17%
CPU Temp never reached 50%, was at around 45%
The problem that I'm getting, that it's performing almost the same as the previous GPU that I had, that is 960 mini from Gigabyte. As I'm aware, it should performe way better.
Tried installing older drivers, that didn't help at all.
Thank you all in advance!
