Hello I wanted to know what the difference is between the two because I'm planning on buying a video card and the thing is that the armor one is 387 euro whilst the gaming x is 450 euro, I wanted to know what are these 60 euro different ? are we talking about 10-20 fps or just little fps like 1-5 ? Which is better to buy ? can it cause small overclock issues the armor ? must it be updated on bios or anything?

Solution
3% is 3%, regardless of what game...
If you're getting 120 fps with the Armor OC, you'd get maybe 125 with the Gaming X.
So in other words, to answer your initial question (again) "are we talking about 10-20 fps or just little fps like 1-5 ?", it's the latter.

The biggest difference is that the Gaming X may run a little cooler and quieter.
The Gaming X has a variety of different frequency modes, like Silent Mode, Gaming Mode and OC Mode, making it a versatile card. They both boast the same amount of CUDA cores and VRAM, so besides higher clocks on the Gaming X, they're virtually identical, being as they're both MSI. One is more optimized for overclocking, as it seems. 😛

So should I go with the armor ? does it stay cool even within a nzxt s340 with one intake and one exhaust and a cpu cooler of 212 hyper evo ?

By way of value, the Armor OC is just fine. Your FPS difference won't be anything notable unless you're playing EXTREMELY intensive games. As well, the temperatures will be fine, you can use MSI Afterburner to change fan speed, OC and whatever else is necessary.

Well, Im planning on playing all games that come out at highest possible graphics.. got an asus VG248QE and wanted to know if I can do it under cool temperatues.. this is my build : https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/vRRCkT

Depends what you mean by large because im not planning on overclocking like high end.. just maybe a little little bit .. i just wanna play all new games at high-ultra and utilize my 144 hz monitor

Yeah.. but with the new games.. this is my build btw : https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/d2fDFd .. I have it paired with a i7 6700k and it seems that games nowadays are making more use of the CPU so it'll be just fine for 1080p at 144hz hopefully

Which motherboard do you have ?

Z170 asus pro gaming and XFX-TS3 650w gold PSU

okat thanks , was hoping that you have the Aura Version , the Asus Strix Card has nice Aura Effect that syncs with Auro RGB leds .

I would for the price difference and cooling should not be an issue.
