MSI 1080 with my motherboard?

I'm wondering if a MSI 1080 Gaming X would work with my motherboard.
And im also wondering if my CPU would work with it too.

My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60GHz
Ram:12,0GB Double-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0KWVT8 (CPU 1)(LGA-1150 socket)
PSU: 460W

It isnt the best motherboard for the job but the 1080 will work with it (just make sure you use the x16 PCIE slot. The CPU will also work well with the 1080 and you shouldnt see any bottlenecks from it.
