Hello,

I run a

- Intel Core i7 @ 3.70GHz 34 °C
Coffee Lake

- MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC

- 32 Ramm

- 1000 PSU

If I get the MSI 3090 will this system be able to run it properly (full capacity), or should I also upgrade the CPU and MB?

Thanks

Solution
agreeing with kanewolf , youll really need a 4k high refresh rate monitor to get your moneys worth out of that card . I personally wouldnt pair a 8700k to a RTX 3090 , you are gonna see a bottleneck somewhere why not try a RTX 3070 when they come out ? as far as a new motherboard and cpu ,,, I wont advise you on that till we see the performance numbers on the Ryzen 5000 series cpus here in a couple of days

Then it's time for an upgrade.
