Hello, ive tried everything and can't seem to get 4k 120hz. I've tried with 4 different ultra certified HDMI cords and 2 different TVs.

On my 42" LG C2 with deep color 4k enabled when I switch to 3840 x 2160 120hz under PC display in Nvidia control I lose display. I then have to turn off 4k through my TV. Sometimes even when I enable deep color 4k I lose display and have to turn it off.

I then tried my 65" Samsung Q90T. When I switch to 3840 x 2160 120hz it automatically reverts me back to 2560 x 1440 120hz.

So either all 4 hdmi cables aren't actually able to do 4k 120, or my HDMI 2.1 port is bad. Which is weird because I figured it might be a more common problem if it is bad.

Any ideas? Thanks

Im suspecting either Geforce driver or cable. Try various driver versions doing manual search and perform clean install function.

Hopefully it ends there since you tried 4 cables. But if you want to try one last time a different cable then try Cruxtec Hdmi 2.1. Im using this cable between 3060ti and LG C1 (racing sim) and is fine 4096x2160 120Hz HDR. Max 3m.
