Which one of these graphics cards should I get because they look similar to me but I'm not an exert so maybe im wrong. If there are any other GPUs in a similar price range that you think I should get then don't hesitate on recommending it to me. Also (hopefully I don't regret asking this), how much better will one of these GPUs will be compared to a PS4 because I want to make sure i play certain games like MGS V in my PC that look a lot better than my PS4. Please don't bring any fanboyism to this please and don't spread misinformation about other companies. Thanks in advance.

Solution
The cooler looks similar yes but looks aren't everything. GTX 970 is a better buy as it consume less power and output less heat. However, if you budget can't make it to a GTX 970, a R9 290X could be your option. The GTX 970 performance will edge out ahead of the R9 290X in most cases.

Just make sure you have a decent PSU to go with either.
PSU:
XFX 550W/650W,
Seasonic 550W/620W
or Antec 620W
Either GPU will wreck PS4 or XBOX one. They will reach ultra settings on PC games. Ultra on pc is not ultra on consoles. Ultra on consoles are around low-medium settings on PC.

There's no such thing as overkill, especially for a small resolution like 1080. Would you really rather buy something lower-end that keeps you just on borderline playable performance, or something that keeps you above that at all times? If you find performance to be truly superfluous (200+FPS) in non-intensive games, you can always find ways to bog them down and make them look better such as with higher AA settings and/or down-sampling.

That's true but I was looking at the economic sides of it and I wanted to see if there was any serious savings I could get. I've decided to get the GTX 970. Just out of curiosity, at what settings will I be able to run a game like Watch Dogs in?
