Msi 7253 Ram Problems

Hi, I am having a problem with my two computers. The one is a AMD Sempron 3000+ & the other one is a AMD Sempron 3200+. They are running similar motherboards which are Msi-7253. Unfortunately only one slot of RAM works in each and when I try to use the other slot they either don't work or start beeping. I have tried everything from changing the ram ( I am using 2 Crucial 512mb DDR2 400mhz, to using the other slot in each computer. I also have checked the bios for any single or dual ram channel modes & I couldn't find any. Some people may say: Hey, just toss the two and buy a new one, but I try to use things up and wear them out ( I am still running a Compaq AP-250 with a Intel Pentium 3 & 2x 256mb RD-RAM). Any and all help would be appreciated as I have had this problem for a while now. Thanks and greetings from Canada!

your Motherboard supports dual channel RAM....... so, inorder to enable dual Mode....u should Install 2 Dual Channel RAM.....
