Hi, I currently have a MSI 845E Max mobo with 512 pc2100 ram. My only problem is that it overclocks like crap. I have a P4 1.6a and trying to reach its full potential. One of my sticks are 256 PC2100 from hynix and it can run at 354mhz and my processor would run at 2.14ghz. But when i installed my new stick of 256 PC2100 ram it can't overlock for sh*t. Its some sort of no name.

So my question is. Although my motherboard doesn't support pc2700 ram, can i still use it cause of overclocking?

Thnx and HELP!!

yup...all memory of the same generation is always backwards compatable...jedec standards

3 386DX-25's...12 volts...glue some ln2 and a wicked amount of overclocking and you get a willamantee minus 36 pins, 33.75 million transistors and a couple hundred mhz... 😎
