So, just built myself a new pc.

It posts, and I have some output on the screen upon boot up, like I see that its detecting my sata hd/dvd drive and everything. But my problem is that I can't get into the BIOS for anything. Press Del like it says to get into setup (using a ps/2 keyboard - tried 2 different ones) and its like its not picking up my keyboard. Tried pressing F1/11/2/3. Anything. After the post page, all I got is a blinking cursor in the top left hand corner of the screen. Got nothing. After a short while it just cuts off.

Tried clearing CMOS
Tried just one stick of RAM

Haven't tried a USB keyboard.

USB should work.

I bought one of those mobo's and returned it because the model number is a lie. It's not a 870 chipset, it's a 770 chipset and they trick you into thinking your getting a 870.

I made Newegg change their description and give me a full refund including shipping and return shipping.

Well. Went to my local wal-mart, picked up a USB keyboard. Still no luck, in the post it says it detects my USB keyboard but it simply hangs now when trying to get into the BIOS.

It says CMOS settings/wrong incorrect (when I have tried SEVERAL times clearing it, to no avail.)

Is there another way to maybe fix this? It simply says on the post screen 0085 and just hangs there until I turn it off.

You think I can flash the BIOS via USB and fix this?

EDIT: I think I'm going to simply RMA this board and get this one:

Any good feedback with that board? Its in stock at a local shop of mine, can't say I like mATX, but for the features it has and it being a newer 8xx AMD board, guess I can't argue with that. Long as it works with my Phenom II X4 965, thats about all I care about...
