I got my MSI 870a-g54 Mobo yesterday and I got, what i though was correctly, everything hooked up. All of the LED's were on and fans spinning but when i attacked my monitor to my graphics card via DVI/VGA converter, it didn't work. So i decided to take it all apart and try again today. I'm left with two wires. One of which is all SATA connectors, with the end being some Odd 4 pin connector from my PSU. The other came with my case i believe and the ends are labeled "HD Audio" and "AC'97". I'm not sure what to do with these or if i need to hook them up.
Also, those are my ONLY wires left. I was told there was a motherboard speaker and that something should go into the JFP2 area, which is completely empty right now. I have the military class edition.
Specs:
AMD Athlon x4 640 3.0ghz
PNY GTX 460 1gig Enthusiast's edition
Antec 520W 80+ PSU
MSI 870a-g54 military class mobo
2x2gb wintec Ram 1333mhz
Digital caviar black 500gb internal harddrive 3.0gb/s
ASUS Sata DVD burner bulk
So essentially what I'm asking is,
1. How do i get this to work on my monitor?
2. Do I need these wires? If so, where do they go?
3. Does the JFP2 need to be filled? With what?
I already checked the manual about this and couldn't seem to find anything
