I've been trying to push a MSI 970 G1 a bit to check its state but I'm fairly new to overclocking and I couldn't figure out the numbers behind it so I'm looking for a few answers here
Voltage is locked at max 1.256V thru afterburner /+20mV or +87mV/ always gives 1.256. Is this the max ? I looked it up but couldn't find any reliable info
The card without overclocking works at around 1.024V
Temperature never exceeds 65c whatever usage or clocks are. How do I push it over 65c? Am I doing something wrong?
GPUZ sensors read low voltage values under heavy GPU load which I don't understand as I can't push it over 1.256V.
I would really appreciate an explanation on this.
https://i.imgur.com/VoDAmca.png - GPUZ - This screenshot is taken while doing Valley benchamrk test of which I posted a screenshot bellow. Weirdly it says 1113Mhz core clock but Valley says 1667.
I have read that if PerfCap Reason is blue and yellow filled like on the screenshot means that my voltage is too low. But this is the first time I'm working with this so I dont really understand it.
I've watched numerous youtube benchmark videos on this card and most of the times I achieve better results.
