Msi 970 g43 vs gigabyte 970 ds3p

Which would be better msi 970 g43 or Gigabyte 970 ds3p in terms of durability and little bit ocerclocking. I have heard msi doesn't offers durable components on motherboard and there are a lots of complain in there motherboard.

They're about equal. Neither of them are good enough for a 125w FX and neither of them are good enough to overclock very much on.

Ds3p is a far better board .the MSI g43 & g46 are just plain awful full stop

There's some headroom for overclocking a 95w CPU on the ds3p but not a 125w one .

With cheaper boards like that you're best sticking with the 6 core 6300 rather than an 8 core.
