Im looking to get the MSI 970A-G43.
On the website it says that it supports "DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866/2133*(*OC)".
Does this mean that u can install ram up to 2133MHz or does it only supports 1866MHz overclocked to 2133MHz?

Solution
AMD FX processors support:
1600MHz with all four memory slots filled. (two DIMMS per channel)
1866MHz with two slots filled. (one DIMM per channel)

AMD FX CPU's don't support 2133MHz speed unless the system is overclocked. You could run 2133MHz memory at a slower memory clock. Normally you wouldn't run the memory hardware at a higher memory clock speed than the memory rated specification..

Excuse me, i have a question! i already have 2x2gb ddr3 1333mhz kingston ram in my system using a fx-6300 and this motherboard, but im looking to buy new ram, until I have a total of 8gb of amount. There was a time that I tested my system with a single Ram Kingston Hyperx Fury 4gb Ddr3 1866mhz and my pc constantly crashed with blue screens. Which ram do you recommend me to buy?
