I have a MSI 990fxa-Gaming motherboard I recently put into my build. (had to switch it out.)

On my old Asus motherboard the temperature sensors were all labeled, but on the new MSI one they are just TMPIN0, TMPIN1, TMPIN2 in HWmonitor and Corsair LINK

TMPIN 0 and TMPIN2 show normal temperatures.
However, TMPIN1 shows temperatures of 70c during gaming loads and around 50c at idle.

What is temp sensor TMPIN1?
Is that an okay temperature?

The only part I replaced was the Motherboard in my most recent build. On my old setup I never had temperatures getting up to 70c so this was cause for alarm since I have the same cooler and case airflow.

I have the same motherboard and just put in a FX 9590 with a rx360 radiator liquid cooled setup. It seems like the high temps are the vrm's... I had temps reach 94c under prime95. When I got a fan and blew it on the vrm, the temps immediately dropped down to 52c and maintained there. When I disabled prime95, the tmpin1 dropped down to ~30c. It looks like we really need a fan that is blowing onto the vrm's at all times to ensure proper cooling. As for my 9590, the temps idle around 4c and maxes at 45c under load.
