[SOLVED] MSI 990FXA-gd65 bios wont update

I run a msi 990fxa-gd65 mb with 16 gb of vengence ram and a 4100 amd fx cpu. I am having issues with cpu throttling ive diabled all the eco setting and turbo modes still no luck. I wanted to update the bios to k.5 im currently running V19.9 i just cant seem to figure it out tho. IM using a free dos fat32 usb drive bootable i made threw rufus and drag my bios file over onto it and eject it. Restart the pc load bios and it cant find the file on the usb drive. Is this possibly becuase of the bios file being a .exe file?

* Please download and execute the file in USB pen drive only.
System will restart several times to update system BIOS with NVRAM & ROMHOLE.
Please DO NOT remove the USB pen drive until BIOS updated successfully.

• Please make sure you have read the SOP before you update the BIOS.
• MSI recommend you to update BIOS only if you are using Windows8.
• There is no way to reflash back to BIOS version Jxx if you already updated to version Kxx.
