Question msi a320m pro-vd/s supports ryzen 3000 series

Hello guys
Currently my PC is
Mobo msi a320m pro-vd/s
Gpu 1060 Geforce 3gb
16gb ram DDR 4 2x stick 2667mhz(due to different manufacturer of ram units running only on 2400mhz)
PSU 550w

I thinking for quite a while about upgrading CPU to ryzen 1600x (first generation) to get better performance in games Like Ark, Atlas etc.

Hovewer with new ryzen series i am wondering if i Can buy some of the new ryzen 3000 series. Of course question is mobo is cabaple of new generation of CPU

MSI released some BIOS versions to support 3rd gen Ryzen but it's quite questionable how much power it can provide. I guess it would survive 2600 though. There would be no OC of course and memory speed over 300MHz is questionable.

There you are.... MSI's beta BIOS'. I think your board is there, maybe not. You can check for yourself.

Even with BIOS, though, how well it works is up in the air.

Come on guys, can you be more helpfull. I have checked the list hovewer i can see all kinds of A320 mobo hovewer not particullary mine. Does anyone actually try it on this mobo msi a320m pro-vd/s ?

I am not sure if A320M PRO-VD PLUS / A320M PRO-VD/S V2 are the same as mine A320M PRO-VD/S or mine simply is not compatible?

Is there actually any one who has tried it with?

And last question it is good choice to buy ryzen 1600x (in case 3000 series is not supported ) or it is just waste of money?

Your motherboard is not supported.
I'm honestly surprised that even some a320 boards get support... Though I guess prebuilt manufacturers like ibuypower and cyberpowerpc need to get their margins lol.

That they have release a new bios update that is supporting my mobo do you think it is reasonable for my setup to upgrade to ryzen 3600x??? And in the future i would buy new Gpu as well.

If the VRM on that board can run a 1600x which it can, it can run a a 3600x and 3700x as well as those need pretty much the same power.
