MSI A55M-P33 New RAM Not Working

I have an MSI A55M-P33 motherboard with a 4GB 1333 DDR3 stick already installed. I just bought an 8GB stick from eBay which I thought should have been compatible but after I installed it the screen won't even turn on. The only difference that I know of between the RAM is that the new stick is 1600Mhz rather than 1333Mhz but I didn't think that would be a problem as I'm not mixing the sticks? I've totally removed the 4GB.

Here's a link to the RAM I bought on eBay if it helps anyone:

The one I bought was 8GB PC3-12800

Any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
That ebay memory module is a registered (with ECC) type (RDIMM) intended for use with servers and high end workstations. This memory module is not compatible with the A55M-P33 because this motherboard only supports standard unbuffered memory modules (UDIMM's or DIMM's). See here for motherboard memory specification (look under "Detail" tab).

Really appreciate your answer, thank you. The last time I worked with hardware of PCs was nearly 10 years ago so this is all a bit alien to me lol I've just ordered a UDIMM unbuffered 8GB stick.

Thanks for your help :)
