Hello all.
So I've made a bit of a mistake during my novice overclocking merry-go-rounds.
I increased the voltage of my CPU after increasing the clock speed to 4.8ghz via the MSI BIOS. Hit F10, save and reset, and it doesn't post, just gives me the 'ol FF error. There is no video readout, however all fans and lights do fire up (as per usual with this error).
Yes, I've tried resetting the CMOS by taking out the battery and leaving the system overnight, and yes I've reseated the CPU and RAM. Booting with one RAM stick in any of the DIMMs doesn't work either.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks for takin a look!

Build Specs as follows:
MSI A88X-G45 Gaming
AMD A-10 6800K @ 4.1ghz (4.4 Turbo)
Enermax CPU Liquid Cooler
G.SKILL 2x4GB 2133mhz
Rosewill ARC-M650
Seagate 1TB SSHD

I doubt it. CPU still fires up like normal (placed finger on it after removing heatsink and booting for a few seconds; it got hot quick). Motherboard is a possibility, though there is no way to tell seeing that I don't have another processor to throw in it right now.

I raised the voltage .45 volts (brought up the voltage from 1.38~ to 1.8ish). It's been done to this processor before, so I didn't think this would be an issue.

UPDATE: Checked the PSU by swapping it out for another one I had laying around: Same result. FF error code, fans spinning.

You've caused your damage by overclocking. I don't think you'll get RMA. And that voltge is way too high. You should stay atleast under 1.5 volts. I prefer staying under 1.45... Chips are individuals. While other same model can handle 1.8 volts, other can be damaged at 1.6. or so on.
