Question msi ace vs msi unify? whats the difference besides lights on the ace/colors

i cant detect any differences other than color themes i want to know if one is better for overclocking than the other

From what I can see, the Unify is just the ACE without the LEDs... Note that both boards only have four SATA ports, so if you have a number of SATA devices, that can be an issue... I went with the ASUS X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero because it has eight SATA ports as well as an excellent VRM design according to the online reviews...

It would be cheaper to buy the Unify and a SATA PCIe card.
Overclocking isn't really a thing with the Ryzen 3000 chips as you get more performance letting the chip boost itself.

The difference:

1. LEDs
2. Ace has 1x Intel WGI211AT Gigabit LAN and 1x Realtek RTL8125 2.5 Gbps LAN. Unify has only 1x Realtek RTL8125 2.5 Gbps LAN
3. Ace has Game Boost Dial, Unify doesn't.
4. the POST Led location is different.

I'm not a RGB fan. I prefer Unify.
