I got a used 580 8gb for my brother so I plugged it into my current rig to confirm that there weren't any issues with it before I gave it to him. Ran MSI afterburner (only recently started using it/ I'm a noob with it XD) and noticed that the temp limit is set to 90° Celsius. I know that an ideal GPU temp is between 65° to 85° Celsius, however it's the temp limit, so is it okay? Thanks for any help that you're able to provide, it's much appreciated!
Also, as I stated before I only just started using MSI afterburner so please let me know if you see any red flags that I should address in the image above. Thanks again for any help that you're able to provide, it's very much so appreciated!
The gpu I got for my brother is a XFX AMD Radeon™ RX 580 GTS Black Core Edition 8GB.
In my current rig I have a rog strix 1080 and a i7-8700k.
