[SOLVED] MSI Afterburner fan speeds wont change

When I change the fan speeds, it says it is changed but they arent actually changing. Also cant get xmp to work makes no difference to frequency. I have a rx 5500xt and gigabyte b150-d3h motherboard. Have tried beta msi afterburner, disabling igpu.

MSI Afterburner does not really work well with AMD cards, it never has to my knowledge. If you want to over clock or adjust the fan curve your card use the included Radeon software.
